Merger of Stackyard Surgery and Woolsthorpe Surgery

Outcome of our consultation with Patients

Thank you for taking part in our recent consultation about merging the medical practices at Croxton Kerrial and Woolsthorpe by Belvoir to create one practice.

The consultation ended on the 20th September 2017 and the feedback has been reviewed and discussed with NHS England and South West Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group.

We are pleased to advise that our application has been approved. This means that we will now be able to merge our patient lists and work as one practice. Our new practice will be called Stackyard and Woolsthorpe Surgery. The main site will be at Croxton Kerrial with the branch site at Woolsthorpe.

The official merger process will be completed on 1st April 2018 and the two clinical databases will be fully merged on the 18th April 2018.

What does this mean for me?

  • You should notice no significant change. Simply continue to use your preferred surgery site as before the merger.
  • Unless you register with a different practice before 6th April 2018 you will automatically become registered with Stackyard & Woolsthorpe Surgery.
  • We will continue to process repeat prescriptions at each site.
  • Our telephone numbers will not change and our opening hours will stay the same.
  • Our Patient Groups will come together to form a new group. If you would like more information about our Patient Group or would like to join, please contact our Reception Teams.

"Combining our patient lists to create one practice will help us to develop the new and innovative services that will better support your future needs and we look forward to developing and sharing them with you."

Patients should continue to access services from the site they currently use. Reception, administration, prescriptions will remain at both sites to support your needs and we will be working hard to minimise any disruption.
