Receptionist

Hours:

Minimum of 15 hours per week, with the ability to work extra hours to meet business demands.

Must be able to work between the hours of 8am & 6.30pm

Experience:

Experience or working within a public reception environment, ideally gained from within a healthcare setting/GP medical practice.

The role:

The role will be to work as part of the reception team across 2 sites as the first point of contact for patients.

You must be able to demonstrate relevant recent experience, and possess an adaptable and flexible mentality, as well as a desire to embed newly acquired knowledge and skills

To apply for this role you must be a good communicator, in person and on the phone, with excellent customer service skills and remain calm under pressure. Due to the nature of the role you will need to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of confidentiality and an understanding of how to apply this.

The role:

Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the Group including the provision of secretarial and administration support to clinical staff and other members of the Practice team, Process Insurance reports and patient information letters, assist with outgoing referrals, process incoming and outgoing notes, Update and maintain practice policies and protocols.

Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice including the provision of clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the practice team

Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly service via the telephone. Due to the nature of the role you will need to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of confidentiality and an understanding of how to apply this. You must be able to demonstrate relevant recent experience, and possess an adaptable and flexible mentality, as well as a desire to embed newly acquired knowledge.
